Inspirational Quote of the Day:
"We never know how high we are till we are called to rise." - Emily Dickinson

Muted overcast with calm winds and temp up to 48F.  Potential for blue resonating behind coastal coverage.  Most take the opportunity for extra rest and sleep in.  Others pedal through town and check from high vantage points hoping to tell the future.  Drained and depleted tides baring all and leaving no stone covered.  NW windswell is the main modus operandi with only the slimmest of SW swells developing.  It is an open field of play with only 1 participant active early.

CHANNEL:  Great sand expanses requiring more water fill in order to operate according to included instructions.  Seadrift shows some depth and marginal function.  Tide is making its comeback and will continue to rise all day.  Know in your heart and mind that conditions can only improve.

PATCH:  Small signs of a modest SW swell though water levels start below zero.  Right handed rollers lack power or pizzazz with no fuel to fire upon.  All rocks are calling your name and do not play well with fiberglass or feet.  Wait it out and ride later as the afternoon will have full coverage and potential.
