Inspirational Quote of the Day:
"The best way to observe a fish is to become a fish." - Jacques Cousteau
Bright shiny yellow stretching as far as the eye can see. Not a cloud in sight starting with a cold 41 and zero wind chill. Packs of man's best friends paws pitter pattering and playing in open parking spaces while waiting on their alpha dog to get suited and booted. Cruising down the boat ramp with fingers crossed for rides and slides while taking in the scenery. Take a deep breath before taking the cold plunge, to cleanse mind, body and soul.
CHANNEL: Blinding reflecting sun off the waters surface and warming damp sand. WNW and SSW swell making small connections in the Channel and Sea Drift side. A few peaks and valleys in the knee range. Water levels are still a bit low and with time conditions should improve throughout the day.
PATCH: So many rocks left uncovered. A perfect setting for tide pool searching to pass time away. As the ocean reclaims its spot in the afternoon, filling in nooks and crannies with briny goodness, lines seem like they appear to get closer. Take some time to celebrate Taco Tuesday before getting in. It may be worth the wait.
