Inspirational Quote of the Day:
"I like the night.  Without the dark we'd never see the stars." - Stephanie Meyer

Carnival cotton candy pinks and blues create the perfect backdrop for the skies main attraction.  The sun's brilliance casting rays in hope of warming the frigid 45 degree air temp.  Hot coffee and tea creating mug smoke signals communicating to the cold blue ocean.  Step carefully as those who are still asleep are not to be woke.  Sometimes waking up is the hardest thing to do.  Those with open eyes can see the energy in wave form on the horizon.

CHANNEL: Cold water temps are back though don't let that deter you.  Thigh and waist high sets are rolling through the channel at regular intervals. The WNW swell is here and building throughout the day.  Glassy faces on lefts and rights with no wind in sight.  Switch it up today with a high performance long board or even an egg.  Remember variety is the spice of life!

PATCH: It has begun.  The celebration of eight crazy fun nights starts today for those who practice.  The ocean is kicking-off the festivities as dreidel games are being played left and right.  Grab your favorite menorah in anticipation of nights first light.
