Inspirational Quote of the Day:
“Strive not to be a success, but rather to be of value.” - Albert Einstein
Clearing skies marked with blue over our piece of paradise and evolving temp starting at 47F. NE winds on the radar to lend a breath of warm air and groom the wild ocean facade. Another swell dose from the NW down to reinforce the formidable forces already at large. King tides showing out and off with frothy ramp play up to street level. Undersized logs and toe cracking stones rolling up and back to lay claim to any sliders lacking spatial awareness.
CHANNEL: The early combo of too much water + swell cooking up a wavering broth of emptiness. Gulls ride alone and hopeful crabbers use the high tide to exodus and hunt the succulent crustacean. Access is the first challenge to accept if your heart leads you here and exit may need magical powers to complete unscathed. Better prospects may be encountered upon lowering post lunch tides.
PATCH: A lone sliding body taking what is offered and gratefully consuming. Western swell components flooding over the reef under the highest of water levels and making itself known in irregular spaces. The lines are not straight but show some bend and curve with the height if measured reaching a dozen hands.
