Daily Surf Report - 5/8/2017

Inspirational Quote of the Day:
"Nature is painting for us, day after day, pictures of infinite beauty." - John Ruskin

Some chills and only a few thrills with temps dipping to 49F and moderating SW winds.  Our previous week of winds has a large NW windswell roaming about as the steep S depletes its energy.  Sun-drenched skies should give rise to good tidings and eventual warmth.  For now those hitting the water are consoling themselves as what they are offered today does not compare to what was consumed last week.  Either way, the day and week can always start on a positive note if your outlook trends upwards.

CHANNEL:  Splish and splash but not in a mad dash as the tatters are torn in the lower tide conditions.  Unexceptional computations though bathed in sunlight as an aspect of beauty.  One can hope for less wind and more tide to flip the switch and smooth things out.  Protected Mali-Bo inside rights may be the best bet today at thigh high.

PATCH:  Having to recalculate due to tide switch and swell drop.  Outsiders fail to flop and insiders are lacking water.  Middles are no man's land currently except as a way station to your next destination.  Recalculating.
