Inspirational Quote of the Day:
"A person often meets their destiny on the road they took to avoid it." - Jean de La Fontaine
Still a bit raw and temperamental in the wake of passing storms. Soggy, foggy and damp but in the process of drying up. Winds have ceased and an elixir of calm seems to be settling in. Temp 50F and starting atmosphere is overcast. Plenty of NW swell in the moment and on the way. Morning high tide not overwhelming and while the water has a chocolatey tinge it also shows promise of storm borne breakers to slide.
CHANNEL: Cleared boat ramp detritus has access free and open. Main Channel bar feeling the vibes and offering rights of a realistic realm with the capacity to transport and transmit. Size is a function of varying angles but will reasonably approach waist or bigger. High morning tide has it softened and suited for longboards. Outgoing current may well improve shape and form.
PATCH: With enough W in the swell and a higher tide in play, the momentum can breach the reef and enter partially. Churned rights with a brownish hue instigate a migration of loggers hoping to ride the crazy train.
