Inspirational Quote of the Day:
"Failure is success if we learn from it." - Malcolm Forbes
A grey resolve though dry and calm. Tepid temp of 55F and not a breath of wind. Word of refurbished swells brings the heavies out for a quick spin cycle. Mobile locals take a more reasoned approach with slow walks and java mugs. NW windswell expands while SW groundswell grows exponentially. Tides show no detrimental extremes. Determine your course of action and head that direction.
CHANNEL: A fully appropriate NW windswell moves up a tick on the growth chart. Invested rippers seek the cylindrical lefts that now revolve along the Channel and Groin bars. No connections are able to be made but individually each breaker can stand on its own. High tide just now peaked and not looking to slow down under full water levels. Take the shorty and shred.
PATCH: Cetacean watch from a distance continues as tidal highs may show a shift in locus. SW swell don't stop and won't stop and early action is already well regarded. Calm winds have things slicked back and smoothed out. Movements well out the back and spread all through the range with size allowing for waist up to chest high faces.
