Tepid to start at 54 with temperatures rising to 61 by late noon. Scattered parking out front the new gate while school goers line up for pick ups and chatty goats catch up on the latest town gossip. A new energy in the air and in the sea that is felt near and far for a select few who can come out and play.
CHANNEL: New south arriving on the horizon, yet cannot break through low tide. Ocean current through Chanel proper is strong leading out to sea as fishermen brace with force and bend at the knee. No one currently out as waves roll in the shin height. As tide turns, keep an eye on the pole, and bring your sled with you.
PATCH: Pay no attention to the rocky warning sign for fun is on the horizon. White crumbly edges and smooth faces await those who can make the extra paddle. No rush to try every one as more are coming along the way. Slow and steady arms win the race.
