Inspirational Quote of the Day:
"Any great warrior is also a scholar, and a poet, and an artist." - Steven Seagal

Dark gray overhead as more rain is coming our way today and tomorrow.  Cool at 52 with the Doppler showing rain starting by lunch time.  Rain jackets and wellington boots are the uniform of choice for the day if making the journey.  Open parking on the approach and creeks are still swollen from past rain.  Water steams still flowing down the boat ramp making for a slippery slide.  Step carefully for even those with lots of practice are taking a tumble.

CHANNEL:  As the SSW swell recedes away, a new WNW swell is slowing finding its way to shore.  Glassy surface with little energy or push across Channel proper.  One break with white water showing on the Sea Drift side in the knee range.  Long boards and even longer arms are needed to catch what the ocean is throwing.

PATCH:  Spaced out left and right bumps can be seen with the naked eye, though no A-frame white water in sight.  Calm and chill motion lulling birds and seals into a meditative unconscious state.  A long stable table for foundation is key to join the prayer circle.
