Smoke tinted skies as we arise to greet a day of challenges. Preparing for unseen forces while those around us emanate a supreme calm. Temp of 49F and silent air with skies radiant and blue. We look to the sea and out towards the future, then back to today and again out to the future. Forget the past as it holds no relevant claim on this moment and can serve as mind memory upon later introspection. Take note and heed that swells are mild and generally from the W and therefore serving limited portions of stoke soup this day.
CHANNEL: Golden sun breaks over the ridge to illuminate low level lefts off firmly entrenched sandbars. A half dozen seekers of slides navigate the field while others plot a course for fishing endeavors and paddling excursions. Truly a day open and welcoming to all. The only constant is change and a stubborn desire for serenity.
PATCH: Paddles, paddles, paddles everywhere and yet not a drop to drink. The question begged is answered in the negative though rights were purveyed upon the incoming tide last evening and enjoyed by a related duo. Maybe it was a hazy dream though the smiles still exist.
