Crystal clear blue far and wide with sharp tree shadow figures etched in stone while the sun shines bright in all her morning glory. Two neon green vests take up center space with three legged brackets measuring space unknown. One by one, traveling school buses take turns and give way while walking dogs guide owners around. Descending down the ramp, blinding sun reflections bounce off the oceans surface, squinting tight to see. Calm and glassy at first glance, careful not to look for too long, for the florescent lights strength will last with eyelids closed.
CHANNEL: Channel proper’s raising its full flag as the in-coming high tide is soon to crest under the shining sun. NW and mild SW swell meander on the horizon shy to make a grand entrance. Slow in energy, waves roll in the ankle height, almost enough to shoot the pole. Waiting is the name of the game and those who do will be rewarded this afternoon.
PATCH: The far outside meeting rock is camouflaged with a liquid blanket, laying flat and far reaching. Pelicans have claimed the space, circling around and diving for treats. Designated as a food court for now, look again this afternoon, for slips and slides.
