Daily Surf Report - 5/15/2019

Inspirational Quote of the Day:
“Encourage innocent amusement.” - Joseph Addison

Low clouds and heavy damp. Rain and wind as the party spoiler. Special moments now reduced to a disheveled landscape of confusion. Swell still activated and willing but Mother Nature makes other plans. Temp locked in at 57F but strong SW winds knocking peaks down and out and blowing in your face. Many hopeful sliders still come, suit up and unload trusty sleds only to stare dispassionately at the scene along the water’s edge.

CHANNEL: Quiet desperation and a fading memory. The thoughts of a broken soul as one gazes towards the ever present marker. Those still seeking stoke will brave the higher tides though with questionable outcomes. Be forewarned - nothing clean exists today.

PATCH: A lone and insistent initiate climbs the wall to gain a better vantage point on the gravity of the situation. Taking the well-worn inside path to fruition of shapes barely recognizable from the previous evening’s wave festival. Find what you can today for it will be only what you make of it.
