Inspirational Quote of the Day:
"The successful warrior is the average man, with laser-like focus.” - Bruce Lee

Dawns new beginning breaks the silence welcoming a thick gray sky and cold temps at 48. Easy and slightly breezy as over night sleepers slowly wake and roll. Parking games well under way with weekend warriors playing hide and seek. Those safely in their spots walk with coffee in hand on to the wall out to sea. Discussions and deep thoughts can be overheard and timing is everything.

CHANNEL: Rising tide all morning makes for a quick jump off the ramp into the ocean. Stretch before hand and limber up as the paddle out is farther out than it looks. Remnants of the WNW and SSW swell linger about with much less push and size. Sea Drift side breaking in the knee zone as the Channel proper has yet to wake up. If rides and slides is what you seek, choose the longest stable table you can find to get you there.

PATCH:  Calm and serene with a handful of liquorice jelly beans thrown on top. Much to do about nothing as more bobbing taking place than forward movement. Inside is always the best side and patience is key.
