Daily Surf Report - 5/13/2017

Inspirational Quote of the Day:
"You have to try the impossible to achieve the possible." - Hermann Hesse

Moon vibes as the early tribe cracks the day open and tries to beat the tidal drain.  Unfortunately Mother Ocean wins the initial round as bottom contours become readily visible and expose all the deep sea secrets.  Options are limited and limitless all at the same time and in the present moment.  A jumbled alignment not so easy on the eyes.  For now the day does begin bright and beautiful if you look skywards and temps are in at 50F.  What swells that may play a part in the surfing fantasy of today will only make themselves visible later during the tide push back.

CHANNEL:  Marshmallow puff with no extra fluff as mini spinners in the shallows swirl and curl around the fisherman's legs. Rippy and trippy as the tide siphons negatively and beyond.  We know the bars exist and are set.  There is a mild NW swell lurking.  Now we just need some water which may require a noon-time recheck and calibration.

PATCH:  Motivation
It comes and goes
But the questions
They stay alive
