Inspirational Quote of the Day:
“The most important decision you make is to be in a good mood.” - Voltaire
First dousing of the season leaves us semi-quenched and chilled out with temp of 42F under vaguely clearing skies. Blessings for no winds but seas remain roiled, steep and heavy. The simple act of gaining a vantage point requires fast footwork and keen eyes on approaching breakers as the tide rises to heights of greatness. No rain falls and while it may a day better suited to hot tea and sympathy, there are those dedicated to pursuing slides. Persistent shapes cast shades in the muffled light that present challenges worth the attempt at conquering.
CHANNEL: Grey gazes along with moon phases empty themselves into great quantities of churning waters. The usual suspects undertake this venture and the stalking of big game with the outer Channel bar heaving hefty hordes of liquid hither and yon. Peak high tide may smooth the facade but also make entrance and exit more treacherous than expected.
PATCH: The approach is limited and harried with confusion in everlasting amounts. A duo does seek to find solace within the miasma though better results may be achieved in the later hours as the tide takes a ride further south.
