Just don't ask him for a ride.
CHANNEL: Obey waterway traffic laws and keep an eye out for boats making their way in and out of the Channel this morning; look both ways while paddling out. Glassy, calm and jam packed with everyone and their mom already out, hoping to ride and slide without running anyone over; look both ways while paddling out. NW and SW pumping waves in the waist to chest height all across Channel proper. Don't be a kook, practice patience and wait your turn. There is plenty to go around.
PATCH: If solitude is what you seek then look elsewhere. Tiny black dots scattered across the entire surface, like black peppercorns on a properly seasoned steak ready for grilling.
