Inspirational Quote of the Day:
“Character consists of what you do on the third and fourth tries.” - James A. Michener

Mixed mists and light rain to wet surfaces and slicken roads. Evening afterglow met with harsh morning realities of deep negative tides and light S winds. Swell still holding firm though workable substrates are absent in the early hours. Comfortable at 54F and quiet with only the necessary beings moving around. Use free time wisely and clear the afternoon calendar for sliding.

CHANNEL: A stalwart trio of the suited and booted surveys and searches for adequate figures and forms. Dressed for success they depart the shore for uncharted depths, wading through the shallows rather than paddling. Unknown outcomes await them and all of us. *There is a small fishing boat bobbing among the participants.

PATCH: Minus low tide putting a firm hold on the area and exposing all underlying secrets. Acceptable shapes for sliding are currently nonexistent. Look to the later portion of the day to rouse the spirits when the tide returns and the swell struts out.
