Inspirational Quote of the Day:
“There are so many paths to contentment if you’re open to self-delusion.” - Anthony Marra

A mist of consequence and lending a haze upon which the day is to be viewed. Post rain calmness with minimal sea breezes and temps of 53F. Early high tides requires the splash and dash to observe or access yet the ramp is not an area of complete tumult. Swell has come up a click mainly from the NW and there are offerings worth exploration as we turn the page on the first month of the New Year.

CHANNEL:  Thigh to waist high breakers and formulated to bear right have taken shape and are the enticement. Shifted sands beneath contrast with expectations but the eye test confirms slideable rides. A day where waves can be had and enjoyed within a positive state of mind.

PATCH: Very little on this menu as the Patch remains a place of quiet reflection and contemplation. Watching and waiting for a sign either from above or below but swollen with tide and minus sufficient swell. As the water makes its retreat later this morning perhaps more action will be had but for now….
