T’was the day before Surfmas and all along the beach, the sun was brightly shining, like a colorful peach. The wetsuits were hung on the drying rack with care, in hopes that Surf-Nicholas soon would be there. Drew was bundled, all snug in his neoprene suit, while practicing cheater fives with his left foot. When down the ramp, there arose such a clatter, Drew sprinted down Brighton to see what was the matter! The sun on the sand sparkled and glowed, gave a shiny luster to the rock sculptures below. A wink of an eye and a shaka by hand, Drew knew in an instant it must be Surf-Nick! He spoke not a word and went straight to his work, and filled all the wetsuits with good vibes and good surf. Giving a nod, up the green wall he rose, Drew heard him exclaim as he surfed out of sight. Merry Surfmas to all and to all a good paddle out!
CHANNEL: High tide rushing up the ramp as water blankets the sea wall creating a tricky entry. Swollen oceans levels leaving the Channel swampy with no waves able to break through this AM. Tide dropping fast with little time in between, for the window of opportunity isn’t open for long. Shin high slides may appear for a short time for those who wait, until the negative tide appears this afternoon.
PATCH: More ebb than flow creating a no go, as the Patch, she lays in silence.
