Inspirational Quote of the Day:
"You cannot do a kindness too soon." - Ralph Waldo Emerson

A serene calm before...  Overcast and a tad cool at 48F though the winds remain quiet and ocean surfaces unruffled.  A bit more NW swell reverberating among the buoys and a steep angled S continues undaunted.  Tides are drained out and Mr. Weatherman says heavy rain is coming tonight.  Take a dip, settle in, hunker down and keep your stoke burning.

CHANNEL:  A bit more to work with though low tide remains a limiting factor.  NW swell up a grade which has brought out the seekers, tweekers and streakers.  Loggers spread along the expanse in hopes a stray roller will find their location.  It may be worth the wait depending on how high you set your standards.

PATCH:  Skirt the exposed rocks to keep fins and feet intact.  Travel to deeper waters to find S swell prospects unfolding at times.  Like draped in velvet smooth with periodic undulations that require responses.  Bring your biggest board for the easy cruise action.
