Inspirational Quote of the Day:
”There is nothing more provocative than minding your own business.” - William S. Burroughs

Spectacular sunshine beams into the bay by way of the morning sky. Wind blows the fall colors right off of the trees and into the empty street. Today is the day, but not for surfing. High tide sloshes and splashes up the ramp and acts as a deterrent to onlookers. Swell, wind, and tide do not mix, proving what we already know to be true. Crisp air stands at 45F but looks to rise slightly. Bundle up until further notice.

CHANNEL:  Abandoned by all living creatures, too much water creates a channel too deep for even the longest paddles. No movement here but that of an overwhelmed swell. No action and no takers. Wind scrapes away the top layer and leaves behind a choppy pool. Better luck next time.

PATCH:  I don’t wanna change but I don't wanna stay the same.
I don’t wanna go but I'm running
I don’t wanna work but I don't wanna sit around all day frowning.
