Inspirational Quote of the Day:
"Positive anything is better than negative nothing.” - Elbert Hubbard

Turn the calendar page and reset perspectives and timing. Slowly clearing skies may yield to full sun but start streaked with clouds and temperate at 50F. No winds today though high pressure may send some warming E breezes later in the day. Determined swells in deterioration mode still offer up their gifts from the sea. High tides all day present a wobble and sway that lessens breakers and steals sand. Let your eye behold and determine your direction of action.

CHANNEL: Pulsing tide yet still some rides if you are willing and able to wait. Outside bars have periodic pulses of NW vibrations that will move longboards forward and at speed. Size declines as swell weakens but another day of ocean motion remains possible.

PATCH:  The jurisdiction of SUPs and sea kayaks each in search of opposing treats. A calm stillness with no apparent surf slide opportunities present. What remains of the SW swell may not have the juice to pierce that depth of water overhead and lines on the surface remain unbroken and whole in their intentions.
