Inspirational Quote of the Day:
“As we let our own light shine, we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same.” - Nelson Mandela

Windy beginnings, leaf blowing and tree bending, while the sun bids good morning and the Snow Moon sets to sleep for now. Sleepy and calm, our village awakes to Spring in February as temps begin at 54 and climb to 62 by afternoon. Tidal swings at a dizzily pace leaving one small window of possibility. With water creeping up the ramp, not receding till high noon, the wind will remain in place and dance on the surface all day.

CHANNEL: High tide reaching unexpected levels early, as the ramp is slowly consumed. Wind is strong and steady, leaving lumpy surfaces and white water churning with the currents. A small pack fighting against the wind seek serenity right of the pole and expend paddle arms to stay in position. One and done in the knee height is the name of the game.

PATCH: Invisible forces of nature churning surfaces into blue and white zig-zag patterns. One soul seeker hunched over with his trident in hand, digging down for traction. Forward motion to shore is the goal if only the wind would play along.
